The Theatre Royal, built in 1805 and recently restored, is one of the oldest and most beautiful theatres in Britain. Beau Nash, the famous architect lived in the house to the right. Sally Lunn's house (right), built around 1480, was the home of the eponymous bun maker. It is now a tea shop where you can try a genuine Sally Lunn Bun.
