Built in 1664, this is one of Bristol's famous "houses of hospitality". The name of the inn is derived from "Llandoger" a small fishing village on the River Wye, and "Trow", a flat-bottomed sailing barge used in coastal waters.

The prominent City Hall in the very centre of the city has recently been renovated as has the immediate area with attractive fountains and plants to match.
