Edinburgh is Scotland's capital city - it is a city of striking architecture and cosmopolitan vibrancy. From the Palace of Holyroodhouse to the Georgian crescents of New Town.

Calton Hill provides a stupendous view of The Old Town and the surrounding hills beyond Edinburgh.

The Palace of Holyroodhouse was rebuilt after the Restoration of 1660 by King Charles II athough he never visited Scotland to see the result.

Glasgow also has so much to offer visitors, with many renowned museums, art galleries and theatres.

And there’s more - so much more of Scotland, lowlands, highlands, islands and cities like Dundee and Aberdeen,  golf at St Andrews, Royal Troon and Gleneagles, salmon fishing on rivers like the Tay, the Tweed and the Esk - and more besides almost too much to relate.

Scotland has many attractions; excellent restaurants and cafe's with an abundance of good food and a wide variety of interesting shops.

Additionally there is plenty of entertainment and a vibrant nightlife all to be found around the principle towns and cities.
